Red Carpet Premiere

This event will be a celebration of cinematic stories centering on prominent Black community members in Sioux Falls. The program will include episodes from The Black Project, Black & Blue (a short documentary on Julian Beaudion, a Black state trooper whose speech commenced the Sioux Falls Black Lives Matter march in 2020), and a short narrative film titled Hazard. Additionally, there will be a moderated panel about racial identity and experience in Sioux Falls. The panel will be moderated by social justice and diversity educators Sara Crosby and Harriet Yocum.
